New Jersey Building Authority

The New Jersey Building Authority (NJBA) was created in 1981 for the purpose of financing, acquiring, constructing, reconstructing, rehabilitating and improving office buildings and related facilities to meet the needs of State agencies. The NJBA's role has since been expanded to include the design and construction of correctional facilities as well as the restoration and renovation of historic public buildings. The NJBA continues its important supporting role in the State's efforts to meet the building needs of State Departments and continues to be involved in a wide array of complex projects.
