The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) held two Public Information Centers to inform the various stakeholders of the proposed plan for the Route 1 Pilot Project.

A presentation was given and the public had an opportunity to review exhibits of the proposed project. Representatives from NJDOT and the consultant firm were available to answer questions and discuss concerns.

In addition, NJDOT senior leadership has met with municipal officials, business groups and others on a regular basis to discuss and refine the plan. The Department will share traffic data and its overall project assessment with the public after the conclusion of the trial.
