New Jersey Tax Portal

30-Day Extension

There is a 30-day extension for all Phase 1 returns and payments due in May 2025. You will not be charged any penalty or interest if you file within 30 days of the May due date.

The New Jersey Tax Portal will give taxpayers and preparers more control over their own accounts by providing faster access, easier filing, and (enhanced or real-time) assistance with tax account information.

Only Phase 1 taxes can be filed at this time. We will be expanding available options and include additional taxes in the portal in future phases.

The telephone-based Sales Tax filing system was discontinued. Use the new portal for all future filings.
