DORES has issued notices to certain taxpayers about updated ACH banking information for tax and employer payments, requiring action to update payment systems if submitting ACH credit payments.

The Cranford, Fair Lawn, and Freehold Regional Information Centers will be closed for walk-in assistance on June 16, June 22, June 25, and June 30, 2026. The Galloway Regional Information Center will be closed for walk-in assistance on June 22 and 25, 2026.

We expect to send the second installment of the 2024 Stay NJ benefit on May 15, 2026. Eligible recipients will receive paper checks in the mail.

We began issuing 2025 Income Tax refunds.

Paper checks are issued from the "Property Tax Relief Fund" and direct deposits are made as "State of N.J. NJSTTAXRFD."
