We will be distributing ANCHOR benefits in October, and continue on a rolling basis. Most applicants will receive their payment about 90 days after applying, unless additional information is needed to process the application.
Check the status of your benefit.
The ANCHOR application passcode is different from the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) code from ID.me. The MFA code confirms your identity when logging into ID.me, while the ANCHOR passcode is specific to your application. If you received a passcode, it is on your application mailer and can be used to access the ANCHOR application online. If you do not have a passcode, you will need to verify your identity through ID.me and use the MFA code instead. Our representatives can help but cannot provide a passcode.
We sent out all mailers with filing information and instructions on how to apply for the ANCHOR Benefit to homeowners and tenants. If you did not receive a mailer, see the FAQ for answers to common filing questions.
If you received the ANCHOR Benefit Confirmation Letter, the application was filed using last year’s information. The deadline to update your address or bank details was September 15, 2024. Payments will be issued using the information we have on file, beginning early October.
