Affordable New Jersey Communities for Homeowners and Renters (ANCHOR)

This program offers property tax relief to New Jersey residents who own or rent property in New Jersey as their main home and meet certain income limits. This year's ANCHOR benefit was based on residency, income, and age from 2025.

Filing Deadline

The deadline to apply for the 2025 application was November 2, 2026.

Returning a Benefit Check

We encourage anyone who mistakenly receives a benefit check to return the check to the New Jersey Division of Taxation, PO BOX 266, Trenton, NJ 08695-0266.
