CannPowerment LLC issues voluntary recall of cannabis beverage

Nature of Consumer Concern:

CannPowerment LLC has initiated a voluntary recall of specific lots of “ButaCake Peach Elixir 5mg” cannabis-infused beverage products, following reports of potential packaging and structural compromise.

According to the manufacturer, the recall was initiated out of caution while the licensee investigates the root cause of the packaging issue, in coordination with the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission (NJ-CRC). At this time, no adverse events have been reported.
