The public fishing pier, located at the northwest corner of the bridge, was specially designed to be ADA compliant. The pedestal to the right was placed in memory of James P. Lovely, who tragically lost his life during the construction of the bridge.

This view is of the south fascia of the bridge looking east from the southwest corner of the bridge.

This view is of one of the four monuments located at the corners of the bridge. The monuments will extend 16 feet above the adjacent sidewalk. They will eventually include bronze memorial plaques.
This view is of the north fascia of the completed September 11 Memorial Bridge.
