How to report fraud
The State of New Jersey is committed to preventing fraudulent emails and identity fraud. We also want to protect your unemployment insurance fund against fraudulent claims.
E-Adjudication emails from New Jersey’s Division of Unemployment Insurance will always contain your full name and will be sent by no-reply@dol.nj.gov.
If you suspect your ID has been stolen, or you believe someone is fraudulently collecting unemployment insurance benefits, let us know right away using either of the methods below.

If you are letting us know that someone is collecting benefits without truly being unemployed, you do not have to identify yourself when you contact us.
- Identity theft: Use this form to let us know that someone has filed a fraudulent claim using your Social Security number or other personal information.
- Collecting benefits while working: Use this form to let us know that someone is fraudulently collecting benefits unemployment while still working. You do not have to identify yourself when you contact us for this purpose.
