We are modernizing our tax-filing system through a multi-phased approach. Phase 1 tax filing and payment systems are now available through the NJ Tax Portal.

We are currently accepting Property Tax Relief applications based on residency, income, and age from 2024. The deadline to file is October 31, 2025.

Text Message Scam Alert

We are aware of reported text messages that claim to be from the New Jersey Division of Taxation asking you to update banking information. If you get this message, do not reply or click any link, and delete it from your device. We will never send unsolicited texts asking for personal data.

Taxpayers should review the Division’s Scams page and be especially cautious with their tax, bank account, credit card, and other personal information.
