This section contains information about resources for youth currently or formerly involved with NJ DCF through the Division of Child Protection and Permanency. NJYRS is designed for young people to link and find resources, but there's a special focus on youth who have been involved with child and family services through the State of New Jersey.
On this page, we bring together all of the opportunities on NJYRS specific to young people who have been or are currently connected with DCF. "DCF Connected" means you experienced one or more of the following: placement in foster care, group homes, independent living, and/or attending a DCF school.
Because of your unique journey through child and family services, you qualify for specialized support that others don't have access to. Whether you're pursuing education, finding housing, or planning your career, the resources you need are in one place. Start exploring; your future starts here!
